President, Mark Peranich:
Mr. Peranich is a sales and marketing professional raising two children in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Through a longstanding interest in schools and education, he recognized that many schools have deployed high-speed computer networks. But a critical addition - the addition of content to these systems - has lagged far behind. Many schools can't afford it, leaving them struggling to complete their transition to the next-generation classroom.

Mr. Peranich recognized that foundations with an interest in science education could assist the deployment of online classroom computer networks, and this need could best be addressed through the support of online content since network hardware was already in place in most school systems.

As president of the foundation, Mr. Peranich's goals are to help foster systemic change toward the development of the digital next-generation classroom in ways that produce better results for the nation's school systems and higher standards for the most cost-effective use of non-profit funding support.

Treasurer, Richard Leiby:
A professional journalist raising three children in Washington, D.C., Mr. Leiby adds perspective to stories from all corners of the globe. Mr. Leiby is a media specialist who brings a unique understanding to the role of media in education, and new applications of media in the online classroom.

As treasurer of the foundation, Mr. Leiby's goals are to help foster systemic change toward the development of the digital next-generation classroom in ways that produce better results for the nation's school systems.

Secretary, William Dobbelare:
Mr. Dobbelare is another media specialist, a professional television programming director who resides in East Moline, Illinois. He brings a unique understanding to the role of video-based media in education, and new applications of video-based media in the online classroom.

As secretary of the foundation, Mr. Dobbelare's goals are to help ensure the smooth functioning of the foundation's activity, and to help foster systemic change toward the development of the digital next-generation classroom in ways that produce better results for the nation's school systems.

Executive Director/Program Specialist,
Jeff Moore:
Mr. Moore is another media specialist raising two children in Rock Island, Illinois, with specific experience in the production of online classroom media, including Scientific Living, an initiative that fosters strategic design improvements and innovations for the online teaching environment.

As executive director/program specialist, Mr. Moore's goal is to promote effective, data-driven strategies for improving student learning through technology.
